Oh my gosh I am soooo sore right now...last night after work I went to the gym and did some cardio(the eliptical mechine, it's my fave, and it has a tv on it so I watched smallville while working out! woohoo!) then I took this class called body flow that was a combo of tai chi, yoga and pilates. tai chi and yoga are pretty easy, but pilates is REALLY hard, probably because it's all about the core(abs)and mine are like totally weak, which means I really need to take that class, lol, so yeah I think I'm gonna be a regular there...just gotta make it through the first couple weeks of major soreness.. :-p

oh and for those of you that like fruit - believe it or not, mcdonalds has a really good new fruit salad...I liked it better then wendy's. It has red and green apple slices, grapes, walnuts and vanilla yogurt. It was REALLY yummy and only cost 2.99. Sweetness.

Coldplay's new CD is coming out June 7th! I can't wait!
Our concert went pretty well!

Thanks all of y'all that came out to see us, that really meant alot! You rock!

We only had a few rain drops/sprinkles so it wasn't too bad at all, although we had some sound system difficulties everything went alright considering.

After the show we all went to sonic with a bunch of our friends, then some of us went back to Amanda's house for coffee.

In the wee small hours of the morning everyone had left Amanda's except for Amanda, Daniel and I. We went to blockbuster to rent the japanese version of the ring, but they had just closed...So we flashed our car lights at them hoping they would let us in, but they didn't. I tried to get Amanda to go to the door and wave money and bat her pretty eyelashes at the guys that work there so they'd let us in, but she wouldn't do it. haha

After that we went to taco bell and were acting REALLY goofy and the employee there thought we were drunk and told us to "stay between the ditches"... we laughed soooo hard. Who would believe all we'd had was coffee?!

Good times, good times.

Well, Melanie and Amanda's mom said rain chances are light for saturday, so hopefully it'll hold back...

I like Johnny's ( xerohumour ) idea for learning an "anti-rain" dance. Can you all do that for me, please?
Man, I just found out it's supposed to rain all day saturday and saturday night...

We're supposed to play a concert OUTSIDE saturday night...

There's a big tarp thing they got to put over us if it rains, but it's doubtful anyone would come to an outdoor concert in the rain.

I just spent 100 bucks to have 100 demos made, and now it's doubtful there will be 100 people there(there was supsoedly going to be like, hundreds of people there, according to someone that works at the rose lawn) and yeah now there will probably be like, 5, if that.

Okay time to live up to my optimistic standards.

It might stop raining at the time we're supposed to play.

Lots of friends and family might come, despite the rain.

And if we don't get rid of all the demos at this show, there will be other shows...

And if it rains so hard we can't play, then we can just go hang out with all our friends.

Music on the Green

Rose Lawn Museum, Cartersville, Georgia

Rose Lawn Museum will host “Music on the Green” Saturday, May 14, 2005 at 6:30 p.m. Featured will be "Sweet the Sound" composed of Cartersville natives Amanda Brawner and Aimee Camp, on guitar, bass, and piano, harmonic vocals – the group has a sound all their own. Followed by "BackTraX", a six-piece band hailing from Roswell and Marietta that offers hits from the past while creating a unique sound all their own. Bring a blanket and a picnic and enjoy an evening of music in the springtime. Rose Lawn was the eighteen-room Victorian home of renowned evangelist Sam Porter Jones, for whom the Ryman Auditorium was built, and will open for tours at 6:00 p.m. Concert outside is free. Tour Admission inside is $3.00 for adults; $2.00 for students.
