  • Mel C told me to update, so here you go.

    Haiku Friday

    It’s haiku friday

But my mind has drawn a blank

    I’m a loss for words

    *edit*

So after writing that my mind was blank it immediately decided to rebel and fill with thoughts.

Today was a long day, I worked this morning doing some massages and then at the daycare this afternoon.

I’ll be so happy when I start the nanny job on the 16th and am just taking care of one baby instead of 6! That’ll be so nice, I can’t wait!

I don’t get to sleep in at all this weekend, which sucks… I have to work early tomorrow morning doing massages and then go to church early for worship band practice on sunday…but I do get to sleep in on monday so maybe I’ll make up for lack of sleep then. I love sleep…does that make me lazy?

I need to start working out again, I’ve had a major lack of energy lately, and I remember feeling much more energetic when I used to work out every day…it’s kind of ironic that it takes energy to make more energy…like sometimes I don’t want to work out because I’m tired, but if I’d just get up and work out I’d have more energy then if I didn’t. I just find that interesting.

I just used this new shampoo I got thats passion flower scented, and my hair smells soooo good now I just keep sniffing it, I probably look like some kind of hair sniffing weirdo, but I don’t care, because I’m alone so no one can see me..but i probably just painted a lovely mental picture in your mind though, right? lol

I am going to play scrabble with my family now..again….haha…I’m such a nerd, playing scrabble with my family on a friday night..and yet there’s no where else i’d rather be. Except maybe playing a concert in London, or recording a professional CD with Jars of Clay as the producers, but that’s not an option at the moment, so scrabble it is.

  • london shmondon, you got CARTERSVILLE!!

    …i hear you.

  • I love sleep too!  It is very essential to living a quality life.   As far as where we’re going to live…  Allen is now living in what was my apartment, and I am living at my parents’ for a few months to save on rent.  When we get married I will move back to the apartment to be with Allen.   Strange to think about, huh?  Congrats on your nanny job!  Let me know if you hear of anyone needing a nanny for a new born during the day.

  • Ooooh that all sounds like so much fun!

  • Congratulations on the job thing. I have been on vacation/retreat for the past week so I missed the post when you announced you had the job, so way to go!!! Try to get what rest you can this weekend. I know exactly how you feel.
