  I woke up FREEZING this morning... fall must officially be here, cuz in the summer time I wake up hot, and in the fall and winter I wake up cold. ...*shivers* *runs and puts on a jacket* *sips hot coffee* aaah..I feel much better now.

  
  

   

  
  

  Spring time is the only season which I wake up feeling not too hot and not too cold. I love spring. Of course I love fall, summer and winter as well, but for different reasons.

  
  

   

  
  

  For some odd reason I woke up at 7am today, after going to bed at 3am. I could've slept in till 11am, but I woke up at 7 wide awake. I am going to regret that later...grrr.

  
  

   

  
  

  We had band practice at Amanda's last night, practising for our gig at the rose lawn on sunday, september 18th(be there, or be square! I posted info and directions at www.xanga.com/sweet_the_sound and www.myspace.com/sweetthesound ) and practice went good, despite the fact that we started REAAALLLY late cuz we couldn't find one of our mics and then oddly it turned up in the bathroom...(had amanda been singing in the mirror..hmmm..lol) and we were missing the keyboard sustain pedel cuz it got left at corey's house, but even so, things still went alright, considering...)

  
  

   

  
  

  Jason, who's been playing drums for us(awesomely I might add, we got sooo many compliments on the drums at our last show....yaaay, Jason!)brought his friend Noah, and it was funny cuz he just told us he was bringing a friend and I assumed it was his girlfriend that was going to watch us or something, and it ended up being a guy, and not just any guy, but a really talented professional musician guy...

  
  

   

  
  

  who we talked into playing with us...mwhahahahha... so he's gonna switch off with me on bass and rhythm guitar, Corey's gonna play lead guitar, and Amanda's gonna play keys and mandolin, and Jason will play drums. Oh and I get to play keys on one song too(Such Great Heights)and Amanda will play guitar on that song. haha we should name our band "The Switcharounds" cuz we switch around instruments so much, or as Noah suggested, "The Roundabouts" haha I like that idea, sounds british/australian..

  
  

   

  
  

  Anyways, Noah's reeeeaaaallllly good, so hopefully we didn't scare him off and he'll play with us again.

  
  

   

  
  

  Oh and guess what!?!?!? Our band picture/bio's going to be in the newspaper!!!!!!! OUR FIRST NEWSPAPER ARTICLE!!! How exciting is that?!?

  
  

   

  
  

  Of course it's actually an article about the festival we're playing at the rose lawn, but they ARE mentioning us, putting our picture and bio in it, so that counts, right?

   I'm excited cuz last year we sold out of our demos when we played there, so hopefully we will this year too, although we have like 3 times more demos then we did last year...(but hey, we weren't in the paper last year either..)if we sell enough demos maybe we'll actually have enough to record a PROFESSIONAL demo, instead of just using our computers at home.   Today I'm going to fill out some more job applications...pray I get a job soon, i hate being broke.

  Then I'm going to give Nancy a massage(thanks Nance, if it weren't for you paying me to give you a massage regularly I wouldn't have been able to pay my car payment the past few months) 

  
  

   

  
  

  And we're going to hang out afterwords and go to barnes n nobles and get the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe with a gift certificate I have there cuz I looooove that book and I lost it in one of our many moves.

  
  

   

  
  

  I can't wait till the Narnia movie comes out!!! It looks so good, I got goosebumps when I first saw the preview.

  
  

   

  
  

  I started writing a Narnia song the other day...it's not finished yet though, but I'll post the lyrics when it's done.

  
  

   

  
  

  I also lost my copy of Harry Potter and the Prisioner of Azkaban so I think I'll pick up that too while I'm there, cuz I'm re-reading the Harry Potter series before the new movie comes out...which also looks really good I might add...the goblet of fire was one of my fave harry potter books, so I'm really looking forward to seeing the movie...I just hope they did the book justice.

  
  

   

  
  

  I think I'll fill out a job application while I'm at barnes n noble and at the used music store next to barnes n noble. If I end up having to work retail, barnes n noble or a music store would definietly be on the top of my list of stores to work.

Sorry to all of you that loved my red hair, but it was fading waaay too fast and I couldn't afford to keep re-dying it red, so my dad offered to pay for me to dye it back to my natural, dirty blonde color...so I did.
