  • Today was a pretty good day.

I slept in then gave Nancy a massage(if it weren't for you getting massages ever since I lost my job Nancy, I would've had my car repossessed!)

Then she treated me to lunch at wendys and we picked up her sister lucy and nancy treated us both to a pedicure! It was lotsa fun.

After that I got stuck in traffic for a long time going back to cartersville, then i went to band practice. Johnny played djembe cuz Jason won't be able to make it to our gig on saturday(we're playing at a hurricane victims benefit in cartersville)and he did a really good job too, we sounded great tonight!

I'm debating about rather I want to play at the open mic night at starbucks this friday or not, cuz Amanda can't make it cuz she has a recital and I really don't want to play by myself, but I told the guy that's leading it that I would be there...

So if anyone wants to play/sing with me on friday, let me know... (I'll be free all day friday to practice too)

  • Ahoy there me mateys!

I just found out from my dad that today is "international talk like a pirate day"!!!... and to think, I missed out on talking like a pirate all day.......how sad.

    In honer of talking like a pirate, i shall quote the great jack sparrow;

Jack Sparrow: The only rules that really matter are these: what a man can do and what a man can't do. For instance, you can accept that your father was a pirate and a good man or you can't. But pirate is in your blood, boy, so you'll have to square with that some day. And me, for example, I can let you drown, but I can't bring this ship into Tortuga all by me onesies, savvy? So, can you sail under the command of a pirate, or can you not?

  • Here are some funny pictures I took of Dan and Nancy "fighting" last night..sorry they're so dark and blurry, but it was dark outside and I took these with a cell phone, plus they were moving really fast/causing blurryness, so what can you expect?

Put em up, put em up!!

    She shoots, she scores!

Kinda looks like they're attacking a ghost here, doesn't it?

    Who ya gonna call, ghostbusters!

  • Wow...between the hours of practising and playing two concerts this weekend, I played guitar/bass for so many hours that my left hand is actually REALLLY sore...I think I might've spranged my thumb muscle, lol! Okay why that's funny I don't know, but I just think it is. Funny. In a painful kind of way.

We had alot of fun playin at the arts festival at roselawn today...and special thanks to Nancy, Dan and John E who drove a really long way to come and see us...we love y'all!!!

We sold enough of our home-made demos to record one and a half professional songs..haha...we'll get there. Slowly but surely.

After the concert Amanda, Cory, John E, Dan, Nancy and I headed over to Amanda's to decide where to go next and we ended up at taco bell(yummmy!!!)where there was a grasshopper on the window that waved at me, lol...

Then since Amanda and Cory had home work to do, John E, Nancy, Dan and I headed back to my house and watched Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's stone, which Dan had never seen so it was fun watching his re-actions.

Then we sat outside on the porch and Nancy took pictures of frogs and bugs which was funny and Dan tried to annoy my sister which was really funny, especially when my sister locked herself up in her room on the second floor and Dan tried to climb up to her window from the outside to scare her, lol.

    Good times, good times.

I am going to enjoy my last week off from work this week before I start my new job on the 26th!

    ***Funny story of the night***

Amanda, Nancy and I were telling Lindsey, Cory and Dan about our trip to TN last summer and how we made a video clip  re-inactment spoof of the movie the village.

Amy; (reaches arms out in front me and holds out my hands, feeling around as if I am blind) "Luuuuucias, luuuuucias!!!"

    Lindsey; WHAT are you DOING?!?

Amy; haven't you seen the movie "the village"?

    Lindsey; Yes...

Amy; Well, in our video I played the blind girl, Ivy, who was looking for lucias outside when she thought the monsters were coming...

    Lindsey; SHE WAS BLIND?!?

*everyone at the table bursts into laughter*

Amy; Have you seen the whole movie?

Lindsey; Yes, I own it on DVD.

Amy; You didn't realize she was blind?

Lindsey; No, I thought she was just acting weird...

*random girl at table on the other side of the room, yells over to us*

Y'all are REALLY funny!!!(she wans't being sarcastic, either, lol)

We all laughed SO hard...it was awesome. I haven't laughed that hard in a while.

And Lindsey has the greatest laugh EVER.

I still haven't found out if i got the PT Aide job or not. Keep on prayin...thanx.

I just had a major case of dejuvou.

My boss from my old job called me and said his massage therapist called in sick so could I come work a health fair(giving chair massages)tonight.

So I said yes, and then he told me where the health fair was. The YMCA. Where I also used to work. So it was like working two of my old jobs at once...how weird is that?! Totally weird. But hey I got a little bit of money, so that's good. All of it's going to pay my car insurance though which sucks. oh well. Cest'la'vie.

Today is my mom's birthday. And Cory(our guitar player) birthday too.

Happy Mom!!! And Happy Birthday Cory!!!
