  • Why did they let the turkey join the band?
    He had the drumsticks!

What kind of music did the Pilgrims listen to?
    Plymouth Rock!

    And this last one goes out especially to Nancy, Mike and Derek;

Why did the Pilgrim eat a candle?
    He wanted a light snack!

    Psalm 79:13 (New Living Translation)

Then we your people, the sheep of your pasture,
will thank you forever and ever,
praising your greatness from generation to generation.

Apparently my love for hoodies and books started at a young age...

Me, reading to my younger sister Meghan. (is it just me, or does she seem more interested in big bird then the book I am reading her? lol)

My two older sisters are dressed up for "prairie school day" I don't know if I'm crying because I want to go to school too, or because my sister is so mean..

Me trying to read to my sister again, but looks like we both fell asleep!(must've been a boring book, lol)

  • You scored as Captain Jack Sparrow. Roguish,quick-witted, and incredibly lucky, Jack Sparrow is a pirate who sometimes ends up being a hero, against his better judgement. Captain Jack looks out for #1, but he can be counted on (usually) to do the right thing. He has an incredibly persuasive tongue, a mind that borders on genius or insanity, and an incredible talent for getting into trouble and getting out of it. Maybe its brains, maybe its genius, or maybe its just plain luck. Or maybe a mixture of all three.

    1. Grab the nearest book.
    2. Open the book to page 123.
    3. Find the fifth sentence.
    4. Post the text of the sentence in a your Xanga along with these instructions.
    5. Don't search around and look for the "coolest" book you can find. Do what's actually next to you.

"And here they are ; Nitwit! Blubber! Oddment! Tweak!" - Dumbledore, from Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's stone.

Going to see Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire at midnight on thursday with Nancy, Derek, and Jeanie. If you want to come with us you can get your tickets at www.fandango.com or just got by regal cinemas in kennesaw and pick up the tickets at the box office.

Let me know if you want to come, it's going to be WICKEDLY SMASHING!!!

PS. Jeanie and I are dressing up in costume to see the movie, so if you come with us feel free to dress up too...or not. Whatever tickles your broom !

  • The funeral went well...I played/sang "there's a stirring" and started crying but somehow managed to keep playing/singing and my dad said it caused " a stirring" in everyone else(hopefully that's a good thing...) it was good to see all my relatives i hadn't seen in a while and share old stories and memories of grandma.

We know she's in heaven with grandpa now and much happier there, so for that I am happy. I am just sad for myself cuz I don't get to see her here anymore..but happy in knowing that I'll get to see her in heaven one day.

Thank you all so much for the prayers, that really means alot to me.

    Love you!

  • Thank you all so much for the encouraging comments and especially for your prayers.

You all mean so much to me and have been such a great encouragement, I love you all!

Please continue to keep my family in your prayers as today is the viewing, and tomorrow is the funeral.

My sister Amanda and I are singing at the funeral so especially pray that God gives us the strength to sing and focus on Him while we're singing, and that we will be an encouragement to everyone there.

    Peace,

    <>< Amy
