  • G'day Mates!

     

    Please be praying for me tomorrow morning at 9am, I have a job interview for a receptinist job in Kennesaw.

     

    Yes, I do already have 2 jobs, but they're both part time and one's minimum wage so I'm barely making enough to pay my car payments.

     

    This job would be perfect because I'd be working about 30 hours a week, and still have a few hours to do massages when I want to, but already be making enough to pay my bills so the massage money I make can go into savings.

     

    Plus I really like the location of this job I'm interviewing for, it's really close to my sister Samantha's house so I might be able to move in with her if I got the job.

    Honestly? 2005 was a really rough year for me.

    *thinking* seeing eisley in concert twice...and spending good times with friends and family.

    I had alot of those in 2005..losing my cousin and grandma...getting laid off and not finding another job for 3 months...okay yeah I'd rather not think about those things.

    I try to erase those from my memory right after they happen. lol.

    I would do something productive with all the time I spent being lazy.



    40) What are your plans for 2006?
    Grow closer to God. Write more songs. Play more shows. Record professionally. Get a better job. Save money. Move out from my parents house. And if I fell in love too(and was loved in return), that'd be the icing on the cake.

    When I planned to go to 6 parties in 3 days, I forgot how time consuming/tiring parties can be...

     

    So alas, I only made it to 3 out of 6.

     

    But I still had alot of fun at the 3 that I went to.

     

    I'm just ready to chill out at home with some peace and quiet and good movies/books now.

     

    It's weird how I love people yet I love to be alone, too.

     

    *Edit* I haven't heard from my cell phone stalker since I posted about him in my xanga, which makes me wonder if he really does read it, because I wrote that thinking that it was someone who isn't on xanga but it's just really weird he hasn't called since i posted that! Hmmm....

  • Last night was party # 2!

     

    It was Lauren & David's christmas party, and again I had lots of fun!

     

    I played David's REALLLLLLY NICE piano, some random guy's guitar, lol,  scrabble(twice!)and scattagories.  I didn't win at all but I still had fun, and laughed ALOT!

     

    Oh and I missed another call from my cell phone stalker! Too bad I missed it...I was going to answer and try one of y'alls ideas..(either not talking at all and giving him/her a taste of their own medicine, or saying something creepy..or funny..haha I'm not sure what I would've said, actually)

     

    Today the fun goes on...Let the parties continue!

     

    *EDIT* Oh and I drank wassail for the first time last night, too!(the non-alcoholic kind of course)and it was goooood!!!

  • Apparently I have a cell phone stalker.

     

    For the past month now someone keeps calling me and then when I answer they don't say anything...and I have caller ID but they block their number when they call so I can't see it. (sneaky)

     

    But yeah...I'm kinda creeped out.

     

    Stalker, if you're reading this, just say something next time you call and put me out of my misery! :-p

     

    And it's haiku friday, so here's a haiku for my stalker;

     

    You call me daily

  • The first of the 6 parties started tonight! It was Derek's graduation party(congrats, derek!!!)and was lotsa fun. 

     

    I saw lots of friends I hadn't seen in a while and we played mafia which is a really fun game(especially when you get to be a part of the mafia, and win, which i was, and I did, muawhahaha)

     

    And on the way there, I met Nancy & Dan at wafflehouse to car pool, and I saw this truck there covered in christmas lights and pulling a sleigh with santa and his raindeer and a bull horn blasting christmas songs that sounded like they were recorded by the person driving the truck, who also sounded like a ghost. :-O

     

     So i decided to take a picture for you..I only wish I could've recorded the sound for you as well, cuz the music was really hilarious.

     

    Anyways, I got out of my car to take the picture, and after I took it, I noticed the guy driving the truck had gotten out and was standing behind me all creepily, talking on his cell phone, but he didn't say anything to me, so I just smiled and got back into my car(and locked the doors! lol)

     

    and then when I was sitting there wondering if he minded that I took a picture of his truck but then figured he should expect it, making it look like that, when all the sudden a body slams against the side of my car door window, making me jump 3 feet high!

     

    But no, it wasn't the truck guy coming to collect my camera(or worse, my body! lol)it was only Dan, trying to scare me, and succeeding. lol

    I had a better day today, thank God!

     

    I did two massages, got some christmas shopping done, and worked at the day care this afternoon.

     

    This article is really interesting, who would've thought that the lady that wrote the book "interview with a vampire" would become a christian? Wonders never cease!
